Motorola recently resuscitated its iconic foldable phone, Moto Razr, and the company is already working on its successor the Moto Razr 2, reveals sources.
The Moto Razr received mixed reactions and was largely overshadowed by Samsung Galaxy Z Flip that debuted with a similar design but much better hardware. Now, XDA Developers have reported that Moto Razr 2 is coming later this year while also revealing a few specs.

As reported, Lenovo owned Motorola will bring in second-generation Moto Razr 5G. The upcoming phone has a code name “smith” and a model name “XT2071-4.”
Moto Razr 2 Expected Features
The Motorola Moto Razr 2 is reported to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, an upgrade to Snapdragon 710. The foldable phone has a combination of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, upgraded from 6GB and 128GB. The battery is allegedly 2845mAh and will hopefully get fast charging support.

Samsung’s 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor will reportedly serve as the primary rear camera of Moto Razr 2. There will also be a 20MP front camera. The phone will have a similar design as the original Razr 2019 with a 6.2-inch internal display and a 2.7-inch exterior screen and it will run the latest Android 10.
The report has also suggested that the brand is planning to initially launch Razr 2 in China and North America.
