Motorola Razr 5G official teaser hints at imminent India launch

Moto India is gearing up to introduce its second folding phone in the country. That’s right, Moto Razr 5G is being teased on the Motorola India’s social media pages and is all set to enter Indian markets this festive season.

Motorola Razr 5G Foldable Phone comes with an updated Hinge design which is essential to the folding mechanism of the phone. It has also got better specs and a more useful front display.

Earlier this month, the Moto Razr 5G was announced globally. The phone comes with a foldable 6.2-inch plastic OLED primary display. It’s a 21:9 panel with a 2,142×876 pixels resolution.

Motorola also talked about its updated hinge design that offers a zero-gap closure that ensures the flexible screen is secure from all sides. It is tested to withstand up to 200,000 flips.

Just like its predecessor, this one too gets to flaunt a 2.7-inch glass OLED secondary screen on the front. It has 600×800 pixels of resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The secondary screen gives quick access to notifications, reply to messages, get navigation directions, and more.

The global variant of Moto Razr 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC and an Adreno 620 GPU, paired with 8GB RAM. Globally, it ships with 256GB of internal storage which should be sufficient for most users.

Moto Razr 5G India launch

Since official teasers is out, we expect the India launch to happen within the next couple of weeks before the festival season. It is highly possible the Moto Razr 5G debuts as Flipkart Unique product during the upcoming Big Billion Days 2020 sale.
