Much-awaited Xiaomi Mi 10 5G officially lands in India

Xiaomi finally launched the Mi 10 5G officially in India after a few interruptions. With 5G support, Snapdragon 865 chipset, and mega 108MP camera, Xiaomi Mi 10 is quite a big deal. And it’s also quite pricey.

The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro made their global debuts on February 13 earlier this year and the Pro variant won’t make it to India. Xiaomi India MD, Manu Kumar Jain, said during the online event that the company is planning to launch more variety of devices in India in 2020. Let’s talk about the Mi 10.

Xiaomi Mi 10 5G Price and Availability

Xiaomi has launched Mi 10 at a starting price of Rs 49,999. There are two color variants of the phones- Coral Green and Twilight Grey. The devices will be available on Amazon India, Mi store, and retail outlets once the national lockdown eases. The consumers will get a free Mi Wireless power bank worth Rs 2,499 with every pre-order of Mi 10 5G.

Xiaomi Mi 10 5G Features:

Mi 10 gets a 6.67-inch 3D curved E3 AMOLED display with 2330×1040 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch refresh rate. The display can push up to 1,200nits of peak brightness.

Xiaomi Mi 10 houses a massive 108MP quad-camera setup complemented with 13MP ultra-wide for a 120-degree angle, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensors. Camera features include 8k video recording, Vlog and LOG mode, motion blur, night mode, pro mode, steady and portrait shoot, and more cool modes. The selfie shooter comprises of 20MP sensor that resides in a punch-hole.

The Chinese firm has employed flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC to drive the Mi 10. The 8GB LPDDR5 RAM will assist the SoC along with 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. To cope with the heating, Mi 10 has an added feature of vapor chamber liquid cooling technology. The battery has 4780mAh capacity and 30W wired and wireless charging support. Mi 10 also supports 10W reverse charging.

At Mi 10 launch, Xiaomi also presented Mi Box at Rs 3,499, Mi True Wireless Headset at Rs 4,499 and Mi 30W wireless charger at Rs 1,999.
