The OnePlus Pad debuted last year with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, which was a flagship chipset in itself. Now, rumors suggest that the next iteration of the OnePlus Pad will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

This leak comes from a reliable tipster, Max Jambor on X, who suggests that the OnePlus Pad 2 will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on board. The OnePlus Pad was a rebadged version of the China-exclusive OPPO Pad 2, so we can expect the OnePlus Pad 2 to be a rebadged version of the OPPO Pad 3.

As for the OPPO Pad 3, it should be launched alongside the OPPO Reno 12 series in mainland China. The launch event could be held next month, i.e.,. May 2024.

We can expect the OnePlus Pad 2 to bring some important improvements such as an LTE model, a better display, and of course, better software support. Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional leaks on the OnePlus Pad 2.

The OnePlus Pad featuring the Dimensity 9000 chip was priced at INR 37,999 in India. Since Snapdragon chips tend to cost more than MediaTek Dimensity, the OnePlus Pad 2 could be priced at INR 45,000 or above.

As for the launch, the OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to arrive in the second half of 2024. OnePlus could also launch the OnePlus Nord 4 alongside the Pad 2. Stay tuned to Smartprix for more updates on the OnePlus Pad 2!
