OPPO has started showcasing the imaging power of its upcoming Find X9 series, with a new reveal on Weibo by Liu Zuohu, who shared a photo taken with the OPPO Find X9 Pro. The image turned out to be a crop, highlighting the sharpness enabled by the phone’s 200MP telephoto camera. According to Liu, this generation represents a complete “revolution in image quality.”
A Focus on Image Quality, Not Just Pixels
In his post, Liu explained that while megapixel counts keep rising, image quality is what truly matters. “Pixel counts can be continuously improved through technology, but what truly touches you and me is never the pixels, but the image quality,” he wrote.
He described clarity as the first principle of good imaging, stating that the Find X9 Pro features the industry’s only wide-angle lens with hardware support for dynamic triple exposure.
Alongside it, the device introduces the industry’s most powerful 200MP ultra-clear telephoto lens (Samsung HP5, 1/1.56-inch f/2.1), supported by an active optical calibration system for higher optical resolution. OPPO is also using its LUMO Super Pixel Engine, which Liu said ensures clarity across photos, Live Photos, and videos.

Danxia Color Reproduction Lens Across the Series
Clarity alone was not the focus. Liu added that accurate color reproduction is essential: “If colors are distorted, even the highest resolution is just an illusion.” For the first time, OPPO is equipping the entire Find X9 lineup with the Danxia Color Reproduction Lens, which works across all three imaging modules. This aims to deliver lifelike blues, skin tones, and sunsets, with OPPO calling it the “Danxia Color Reproduction Lens.”
Hasselblad Collaboration and New Modes
This year also marks the fifth year of OPPO’s partnership with Hasselblad, which Liu referred to as the culmination of joint efforts. The Find X9 series has been internally nicknamed the “Hasselblad Image Quality King.”
The lineup will feature an upgraded Master Mode and a revived XPAN Mode with enhanced light and shadow. Alongside the devices, OPPO will introduce the Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit, which includes a magnetic grip and a professional teleconverter for both the OPPO Find X9 and X9 Pro.

Travel Photography and All-Round Imaging
Separately, OPPO Flagship Product Manager Zhou Yibao highlighted how the Find X9 Pro is designed to replace cameras during travel. He pointed out that carrying a DSLR adds weight and inconvenience, while phones often struggle with details. He positioned the Find X9 Pro as an all-around imaging tool that addresses these pain points.
He listed key capabilities such as:
- A 200MP telephoto lens with maximum light intake.
- Instantaneous triple exposure with the LYT828 sensor to prevent blown highlights or dark shadows.
- The Danxia lens for accurate colors.
- Android’s first full-link 4K Ultra HD Live Photos.
- Support for 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video.
- Hasselblad-developed modes for consistent tonal aesthetics.
Zhou described it as an “all-around superior product” and reinforced its positioning as the “OPPO Hasselblad Image Quality King.”

Launch Timeline
