  • OPPO has started rolling out the April 2026 ColorOS 16 update in India.
  • The update adds a UEFA Champions League watermark in the Photos app and improved video speed controls with four playback options.
  • Rollout began on April 8 and is scheduled to continue through April 30 for eligible devices.

OPPO India has started pushing the April 2026 ColorOS 16 monthly update to eligible smartphones. This month’s release focuses on new Photos app tools, adding one football-themed feature and one media playback improvement for supported devices.

The main addition is a new UEFA Champions League watermark inside the Photos app. Users can now apply the UCL emblem to photos directly from the built-in editing tools. OPPO is rolling this out during the current Champions League season, giving users a themed option for match-day pictures and social media posts.

The update also adds improved video speed controls in the Photos app. Users can now change playback speed while viewing videos with four options: 0.5X, 1.0X, 1.5X, and 2.0X. This can be used for slower playback or faster previews without needing a separate app.

According to OPPO, the update is rolling out in phases and began on April 8, 2026. The company expects all eligible devices in this batch to receive it by April 30, 2026.

Eligible Devices

  • OPPO Find X9
  • OPPO Find X9 Pro
  • OPPO Find X8
  • OPPO Find X8 Pro
  • OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G
  • OPPO Reno15 5G
  • OPPO Reno14 Pro 5G
  • OPPO Reno14 5G

Users with supported models can check manually by going to Settings > System & update > Software update. More devices should also receive the update later.
