Earlier today, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme confirmed the design for its upcoming lineup: the Realme 13 Pro 5G series. The model, along with Realme 13 Pro+ 5G, could go official as soon as this month, as the brand is already teasing a “Monet Gold” finish for the Realme 13 Pro series. However, a few hours ago, an Indian tipster seems to have got his hands on the Geekbench listing of the Realme 13 Pro+, and the results are slightly disappointing.

Realme 13 Pro+ Spotted On Geekbench

According to a Geekbench listing published on July 11, 2024, the Realme 13 Pro+ (with the model number RMX3921) has scored 951 points in the single-core and 2836 points in the multi-core performance test. The benchmark listing also reveals that the upcoming smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, the same chipset that powered the Realme 12 Pro+ (review) when it came out. In other words, Realme will relaunch the one-year-old chipset in its new smartphone, keeping users from any performance upgrade a new chipset could have provided.
Interestingly, this is not the first time the handset has appeared on Geekbench, as we could also locate a listing dating back to July 2, 2024. During this time, the phone appeared on the benchmarking platform six times, wherein its maximum single-core score was 1,016 points, while the minimum score was 833 points. Similarly, the maximum multi-core score has been 2,898 points, whereas the minimum score has been 2,705 points.
