Realme 7i with Snapdragon 662 and 90Hz display goes official

As customary, Realmi has brought the trimmed down version of the Realme 7 (review) to life. Christened Realme 7i, the new phone runs on a Snapdragon chip unlike the standard 7. Further, it has got a less fancy design, an inferior HD+ display, slower charging speed, etc in the list of downgrades.

But even with those, the phone still packs a lot of decent specs in the package. Here. have a look —

Although the display stretches 6.5 inches diagonally and 90Hz refresh rate, it is now an HD+ panel. The punch hole is still there with a 16MP sensor. And the back cameras are also a 64MP leader, followed by an 8MP (ultrawide) shooter, and two 2MP sensors.

The software is Realme UI based on Android 10. This is running on top of a Snapdragon 662 processor, paired with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, 8GB of RAM, and 5000mAh battery. The charger is an 18W adapter though.

Among other things, you also get, face unlock, rear fingerprint reader, dual-band Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD slot, and a USB Type-C port. The phone is out in two color options, viz. Aurora Green and Polar Blue.

Realme 7i Price and Availability

The Realme 7i is currently launched in Indonesia at a price of IDR 3,199,000 (~Rs. 15,800). The company hasn’t disclosed the details about international availability. However, since the precursors had made a visit to India, we expect this one shall too.
