Realme, known for its tech innovations, is gearing up for an exciting launch this month. Back in 2022, it introduced the Realme Buds Air 3 true wireless earbuds in India, which quickly gained popularity for their balanced sound quality and strong active noise cancellation of up to 42dB. Now, the spotlight is on the upcoming Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, alongside Realme 11x and Realme 11 5G phones.

Smartprix team’s keen observation revealed that the Realme Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro have made their way into the Realme Link companion app, hinting at their imminent launch. These earbuds are expected to launch alongside the previously teased Realme Buds Air 5 Pro.

Though the official launch date remains undisclosed, past reports suggest that these earbuds might debut in India alongside the Realme 11 5G on August 23. Notably, the Realme Link app preview showcases the design of the Realme Buds Air 5, which is positioned as India’s pioneering product within the Realme portfolio.

Conversely, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has already been unveiled in China, giving us a glimpse of what to anticipate. These wireless earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and support the high-bitrate LDAC codec for an immersive audio experience. With six microphones distributed across both earpieces, they deliver up to 50 dB of noise cancellation.

Equipped with substantial 11mm woofers and 6mm planar drivers, the earbuds leverage Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity, compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Highlights include fast multi-device compatibility, IPX5 splashproof rating, and dual device pairing. Further enhancements encompass Hi-Res audio, a 40ms Super Low Latency, 360-degree Spatial Audio Effect, and Personalized Audio Algorithm. Realme claims that the Buds Air 5 Pro can offer up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge, although this may slightly decrease when ANC is activated.
