Realme Fitness Band will Launch in February, confirms CEO Madhav Sheth

Realme is broadening its product portfolio in India with new items ranging from fitness wearables to audio accessories. The Realme Fitness Band was first spotted in the Realme 5i announcement video. The company CEO Mr. Madhav Sheth teased the yellow strapped band. Then the day before yesterday, it appeared as part of a promo poster on Weibo. At last, it’s officially confirmed today by none other than Mr. Sheth.

In the latest AskMadhav webisode, he revealed the Realme Band will have its launch next month. Although details are scanty, we expect it to be positioned against the Xiaomi’s Mi Band.

Realme Fitness Band expected features

The poster shows a monochrome display, the signature yellow silicone strap, and the body looks petite and made of plastic.

It is rumored to sport a 0.78-inch OLED panel. Rest, it embraces a traditional clasp strap. to make it easy to wear. Needless to say, it will cover the basic sensors and fitness features, to say the least.

Besides the news on Fitness Band, Mr. Sheth did also share that the Realme X50 Pro 5G won’t make its way to India. Rather, something better is apparently in store.

He cleared the doubts on the update cycle of various Realme phones. He also assured of a one-tap solution to disable the ads, that will soon appear in the Realme UI. Another hotly anticipated feature i.e. VoWiFi will reach the handsets in the coming month, beginning with the Realme X2 Pro (review). This will be enqueued for other Realme devices, which will get this update by the end of Q1, 2020.
