Renault Duster Hybrid Already Booked Out
During the price announcement, Renault also mentioned that many people have been opting for the hybrid petrol variant of the Duster. The brand mentioned that 91 percent of the bookings have been for the more powerful TCe 160 variant of the Duster, which comes with the 1.3 litre turbocharged petrol engine. Renault also said that 39 percent of the pre-bookings for the hybrid variant of the Duster were for the strong hybrid.

In fact, the bookings for the hybrid Duster have been so high that the company has closed the bookings for the strong hybrid for 2026. Yes, this is how popular the Renault Duster already is. Without knowing the prices or the exact launch date of the hybrid, people have already booked out the hybrid version of the Renault Duster.

This itself shows that the Duster will again be integral to Renault’s future in India. The brand’s India push is now clearly visible, with the teasers of some of its upcoming SUVs as well – like the Renault Bridger or the 7-seater Duster, which the company will likely name the Renault Bigster. Both the models are expected to launch towards the end of 2026 or the start of 2027.
