Samsung India has launched the Galaxy Book 6 series in the country. It brings three new AI-powered notebooks to market: the Galaxy Book 6, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra. All the notebooks are available to purchase starting March 27, 2026. You can buy them via the company’s official online store and as well authorised offline retail outlets.

Before we dive into the model-specific pricing and features, all the notebooks run on Windows 11 and are certified as Microsoft Copilot+ PCs, along with Samsung’s Galaxy AI features.

The baseline Galaxy Book 6 costs Rs. 1,27,990 and offers 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, in Gray and Silver color options. It is targeted squarely at students and everyday users.

You can get the notebook in three display variants: a 16-inch touchscreen, a 16-inch non-touchscreen, and a 14-inch non-touchscreen, all featuring WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS panels that reach up to 350 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Book 6 houses the Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 Series 3 processors with an NPU delivering up to 49 TOPS of on-device AI-based features like Note Assist and AI Select. Connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.4.

Next in the lineup, the Book 6 Pro starts at Rs. 1,78,990 for the 14-inch model with the Intel Core Ultra 5 Series 3 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The Pro steps things up for professionals who prioritise portability without compromise.

The laptop is available in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, both featuring Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED touchscreens with anti-reflective coating (we’ve seen it on Samsung’s flagships). The screens can achieve up to 1,000 nits of peak HDR brightness and support an adaptive 30Hz-120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Book 6 Pro runs on the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, up to an Ultra X7, with integrated Intel Arc graphics and the same 50 TOPS NPU as the Book Ultra (which we’ll talk about in a bit). The 16-inch model carries a 78.07 Wh battery and the 14-inch sports a 67.18 Wh cell, both of which are rated to provide up to 30 hours of video playback. Furthermore, they support 65W USB-C fast charging.

The smaller Book 6 pro weighs 1.24 kilograms, while the larger variants weigh 1.59 kilograms.

The top-tier Galaxy Book 6 Ultra costs Rs. 2,42,990 for the only variant that offers the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

The 16-inch WQXGA (2880 x 1800) Dynamic AMOLED touchscreen can achieve up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, making it one of the brightest laptops in the segment. It also has an anti-reflective coating to reduce the glare on the screen.

According to the official specifications page, the Book 6 Ultra ships with the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, the Intel Arc 8390 GPU, and an Intel NPU (up to 50 TOPS). However, the official press release also mentions an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU as an optional upgrade, making the notebook ideal for video editing, 3D rendering, and gaming.

The laptop supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A port, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card slot, and fast Wi-Fi 7. You also get a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system and an 80.2 Wh battery that supports 140W wired fast charging.
