The support page for the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE shows model number SM-R861 and some reports claim that the launch is imminent as well. The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is expected to be a more affordable model sharing some specs with the existing Galaxy Watch 4.
Galaxy Watch 4 was launched in 2021 with a starting price of Rs. 23,999 which is way less than Galaxy Watch 6 (Rs. 29,999). If Galaxy Watch FE is modelled along the lines of Watch 4 then it will have a similar circular shape with a rotating bezel and run WearOS with various health and fitness features.
Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is expected to compete with watches like Amazfit Cheetah, OnePlus Watch 2 and Google Pixel Watch among others. These smartwatches are priced under 25k and have various exciting features.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 came in two sizes- 40mm and 44mm. The 40mm version offers a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED panel while the 44m version has a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen. It is powered by Exynos W920 processor with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. Health sensors include ECG, Optical heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, and more.
If the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE does come based on Galaxy Watch 4, then it might be a capable smartwatch as well.
Although the launch date for Galaxy Watch FE hasn’t been announced, hopefully, we will get to know everything about it at the 10th July Unpacked Event. Samsung has also confirmed that the lineup will have two more smartwatches- Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra.
