The Samsung Galaxy S23 series took the global market by storm with one of a kind features and amazing camera prowess. Following that, Samsung also announced that it would launch the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in 2023 soon. In a recent development, a Korean tipster who goes by the name Connor on Twitter has revealed the processor of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. According to his tweet, the smartphone will be shipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Keeping in mind that the Galaxy S23 series works on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors, the upcoming FE edition will hit the market at lower prices. The reason behind using a watered-down processor is that Samsung wants to limit the pricing so that it can capture the audience that looks for high-end specifications at not-so-high prices.

The smartphone is also expected to feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As of now, all the other information regarding smartphones is under wraps. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the same as soon as there is an official announcement by Samsung regarding the launch date of the smartphone.

Will Samsung Galaxy S23 FE be able to tackle the competition?

It can be said without a doubt that there are a dozen of smartphones from brands like OnePlus, Xiaomi, iQOO, and others that ship on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Most of these phones are available in the market at a price range between Rs 49,000 to Rs 60,000. If Samsung is going to offer the mentioned processor in the FE variant of Galaxy S23, the company has to make sure that its price in the Indian market revolves around Rs 50,000 to Rs 55,000 to gain the attention of the users.

Furthermore, the success of the last few FE edition devices by Samsung has already increased the expectations from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. Most of the audience wants to see a device with optimum performance and mind-blowing photography prowess like other phones from the series. It will be too early to predict which sensors the device will ship with, as the tentative launch will take place in the second half of 2022. Until then, we can only wait to see what Samsung has in store.
