Samsung Galaxy S23 Series prices tipped: Launch to take place on February 1

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S23 Series during the Unpacked Event on February 1. Ahead of the launch, various reports keep revealing details about the specs, and features of the 3 devices- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Now, the latest is that the prices of the Galaxy S23 devices have surfaced online and they are hardly surprising.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series: Prices tipped

 The US pricing of the Galaxy S23 Series has been leaked via Verizon documents, courtesy of Reddit. The document mentions the codename Diamond so Galaxy S23 is DM1, Galaxy S23+ is DM2 and Galaxy S23 Ultra is DM3.

DM1 will start at USD 799 (Rs. 64,800 approx.), DM2 will start at USD 999 (Rs. 81,000 approx.) and DM3 will have a starting price of USD 1199 (Rs.97,200 approx.). If these prices are true, then there are no surprises in terms of price point as they are similar to the Galaxy S22 Series.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series: Expected storage variants

The S23 smartphones are said to come in 2 RAM+ Storage configurations- 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB. All the 3 devices are expected to come in 4 colors- Phantom Black, Cream, Lavender, and Green.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series: Expected specs

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

 The Galaxy S23 might get a 6.1-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, triple rear cameras (50MP, 12MP,10MP), a 10MP front camera, a 3900mAh battery with 25W charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is said to run Android 13-based One UI 5.0.

Coming to the Galaxy S23+, it is expected to sport a 6.6-inch 120Hz display and a 4700mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Rest all specs will be similar to S23.

The top model, Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch display, 200MP quad rear camera with 100x zoom, S-Pen support, 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and more.

The design is expected to be similar to Galaxy S22 Series.
