South Korea-based Tech Giant Samsung is expected to launch its flagship Galaxy S24 Series on January 17, 2024. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Series will include Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24+, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones. The buzz around what will be new in these devices has been high for a few months now. Various reports have confirmed that Samsung will load the S24 Series devices with many AI features this time.

The latest addition to the list is a Pixel-like Magic Eraser feature that is coming to the Galaxy S24 Series. This feature will allow the Galaxy S24 Series smartphones to erase subjects in videos. It will be a part of the updates that One UI 6.1 is about to roll out.

AI Capabilities in Galaxy S24 Series

Reliable Tipster Bennett Buhner claims that the Galaxy S24 Series will feature an AI capability in which users will be able to erase subjects from videos, something that only Google Pixel devices offered till now. If this is true, then it would be some next-level editing by those who don’t have any technical skills in the matter. One UI 6.1 is also expected to offer the ability to change the position of objects in scenes and move them beyond borders.

Not only this, AI Capabilities are expected to include recreating more of an existing photo using AI, improving the performance of cameras in low light, minimizing graininess from videos, and offering better stabilization while clicking images and recording videos. Speculations are strong that an in-built chatbot is also being introduced on the Galaxy S24 Series. AI is expected to allow analyzing a phone conversation to pick out important things (meetings, appointments, etc) and put them on your calendar so that they are on the to-do list.

Samsung One UI 6.1 is also expected to offer AI-generated wallpapers for use. To make these wallpapers, users just have to give a text prompt with subject and background details and AI will work its magic to create a wallpaper based on instructions. Other AI-based features include live translation of conversations during calls, isolating background noise during video and voice calls, and more.

The entire list of AI features will be known when One UI 6.1 rolls out at the launch of the Galaxy S24 Series.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Storage & Color options tipped

Insider Tech_Reve has confirmed that the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will come in 4 main shades- black, grey, violet, and yellow. There will be matching wallpapers as well. The only difference will be that the Ultra model will have titanium variants of these colors, thus a metallic finish. While the other 2 members will have a solid version of the 4 color options namely the Amber Yellow, Marble Grey, Onyx Black, and Cobalt Violet. Samsung always offers some exclusive shades via its online store, but those colors are still unknown.

As for the storage options, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB or 1TB storage. The middle Plus member will most probably feature 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. The smallest vanilla model is expected to offer 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB onboard storage.

The series will come with S-Pen support as always. It will launch via a ‘Galaxy Unpacked 2024’ event in January 2024.
