Tech giant Samsung is back with its third Unpacked Event for 2025, and this time around, the focus is on next-generation foldables & smartwatches. The brand has announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 & an all-new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE globally as well as in India. Alongside the foldables, Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup & Galaxy Watch 2 Ultra. Let us have a look at the features, design, and more about these foldables.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 & Z Flip 7 FE Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be up for pre-order from today, and general availability will begin on 25th July. It will come in Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Coral red, and Mint (an online exclusive) colors. The Indian pricing starts at Rs. 1,09,999

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will come in black and white shades. It starts at Rs. 89,999.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be up for pre-order from today, and general availability will begin on July 25. It will come in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jetblack, and Mint colors. It starts at Rs. 1,74,999.

Samsung is offering Samsung Care+, which includes comprehensive coverage for accidental damage, repairs, and replacements. You also get expanded access to Google AI Pro and 2TB cloud storage for 6 months at no cost with Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Features

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes with a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display built for an ultra-smooth experience, along with a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow screen, the largest on Galaxy Z Flip with edge-to-edge usability. Both displays support 2600 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures fluid scrolling, streaming, and gaming. FlexWindow also gets an upgrade with VisionBooster for enhanced outdoor visibility.

Samsung has built the Galaxy Flip 7 keeping in mind powerful performance and portability. It has a compact and sleek silhouette, which makes it easy to slip into your pocket or purse, perfect for whatever the day brings. It weighs 188 grams and measures only 13.7mm when folded and 6.55mm when unfolded. making it the sleekest Galaxy Z Flip ever. The back and front are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the Armor FlexHinge is thinner than the hinge on the previous generation. Armor Aluminium Frame offers a tough exterior for resilience.

In terms of power, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 runs the latest Exynos 2500 3nm processor customized for Galaxy with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It packs a 4300mAh battery, the largest ever on a Galaxy Z Flip, which offers up to 31 hours of video playback on a single charge. The battery supports 25W wired charging speed along with fast wireless charging 2.0, and wireless PowerShare.

Samsung DeX is arriving on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 for the first time, which enables it to transform into a handy workstation. Galaxy AI is smarter and more intuitive than ever. Powered by One UI 8 and Android 16, it gives true multimodal AI experiences optimized for the Flip’s iconic design, with many tasks now able to be handled right from the cover screen.

The AI-powered personalization includes wallpaper suggestions to emoji, color, and widget customization. Gemini Live will be available directly on FlexWindow, and all the information can be stored in Samsung Notes for easy access later. Now Bar will show real-time app activity, podcast progress, and alerts right on the cover screen as it is now integrated with even more 3rd party apps. Now Brief will offer more personalized daily updates while the FlexWindow’s clock adapts and stretches to complement the user’s wallpaper.

Samsung is bringing pocket pocket-sized selfie studio with the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It takes selfies to the next level right from FlexWindow, and there are real-time filters and a new Zoom Slider for capturing perfect selfies. There is a 10MP selfie camera at the front.  At the back is a dual lens setup including a 50MP wide and a 12MP ultrawide lens with features like enhanced nightography, 10-bit HDR, and more. Dual preview allows the photographer and the subject to see the composition live on the FlexWindow, and you can take eye-catching shots with Portrait Studio in Photo Assist.

The foldable is IP48 rated, and connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, along with Samsung Knox Security for peace of mind.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Features

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 brings together the best of Galaxy design, camera functionality, and AI innovation in the sleekest and lightest Galaxy Z Fold series to date. It weighs just 215 grams, and the foldable is 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded. The foldable flaunts a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, and the main display is an 8-inch tall Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen. With a vision booster and 2600 nits peak brightness, it stays brilliant even under direct sunlight. The displays support a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of the camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 sports a 10MP selfie camera at the front. At the back is a 200MP wide-angle sensor, a 10MP main sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide-angle sensor, making it perfect for any kind of photography. The foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard storage.

Under the hood, it gets a 4400mAh battery with 25W wired charging speed, fast wireless charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare. It runs Android 16-based One UI 8, and new Galaxy AI capabilities include AI Results View, Drag and Drop, Drawing Assist or Writing Assist, Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and more.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and more. Samsung is offering Samsung Knox security with Knox Vault and e-SIM support as well. The foldable is IP48 rated.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Features

With the addition of a new foldable to the lineup, Samsung aims to bring foldable experiences to even more users. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is compact when folded and expansive when opened, featuring a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover display with 720×748 pixel resolution. When folded, it is 14.9mm, while when unfolded it is 6.9mm. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE weighs 187 grams, keeping it lightweight.

It gets a 50MP FlexCam for selfies and videos in FlexMode, and Now Brief surfaces helpful updates on the cover screen in a layout optimized for the foldable. There is also a 12MP ultrawide camera at the back. At the front is a 10MP selfie sensor. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Under the hood, it packs a 4000mAh battery with 25W wired charging speed, fast wireless charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare. It is IP48 rated and runs Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box.

Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and more. It will come in black and white shades with a minimal look, complementing its intelligent and foldable design.
