Samsung’s Exynos 2600 Might Come With A Big CPU And GPU Boost, Could Power A Galaxy S26 Variant In 2026

While fans and enthusiasts prepare for the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025, where Samsung is expected to unveil the next-generation Galaxy Z foldables and the new Galaxy Watch 8 series, rumors about the Exynos 2600 processor have begun to surface on the internet.

Exynos 2600 To Feature An Eight-Core Cluster Design

Reports suggest that the Exynos 2600 will be Samsung’s first chipset based on 2nm fabrication technology. According to leakster @OreXda (via the microblogging platform X), the Exynos 2600 will provide meaningful improvements over the Exynos 2400.

First, the chipset employs an eight-core cluster design comprising two Cortex-X large cores and six Cortex-A energy-efficient cores. This is a significant departure from the 10-core design of the Exynos 2400.

Exynos 2600 Offers Significant CPU And GPU Improvements

Per the tipster, the Exynos 2600 scores 2950/10200 points in the single/multi-core GeekBench 6 CPU benchmark, which is significantly higher than the benchmark score of the Exynos 2400.

The Exynos 2600’s CPU is 30% faster in single-core performance. In fact, the early benchmark suggests that the Exynos 2600 SoC outperforms Apple’s A18 Pro, particularly in the multi-core benchmark.

Talking about the Exynos 2600’s Xclipse 960 GPU, it scores around 5800 points in the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Test. Comparing these scores to those of the Exynos 2400, the Exynos 2600 does 60% better, which is a noteworthy achievement.

Furthermore, it can reach 85 frames per second in GFXBench’s Aztec Ruins test.

Moreover, the Exynos 2600 appears to be a significant improvement over the current Exynos 2400 chipset and the upcoming Exynos 2500 chip, which could debut with the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
