Samsung’s Smart Monitor M8 goes official in India: Pre-bookings open now

Tech giant Samsung launched its first Smart Monitor in November 2020. It was a series of the world’s first do-it-all screens designed for modern-day users who demand a product that offers both functionality and entertainment at home. Now after almost 2 years, the company has launched Smart Monitor M8 which is an addition to the Smart Monitor Series. It comes with an upgraded design which is stylish along with a Slim Fit Camera for seamless video conferencing.

Smart Monitor M8: Price & Availability

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 will be available from June 15 starting at a price of Rs. 59,999 via Samsung’s official online store, Samsung shop, Amazon, and other retail stores. The pre-booking has already opened and the ones who pre-book between 8 to 14 June will get Galaxy Buds 2 worth Rs. 11,999 and Samsung smart wireless keyboard worth Rs. 3499 free along with an Rs. 3000 instant card discounts.

This is not all, consumers booking Smart Monitor M8 by 11:59 pm on June 10 will also get BookMyShow and The Body Shop vouchers worth Rs. 500 each along with Rs. 5000 discount.

The Smart Monitor M8 will come in Sunset Pink, Spring Green, Daylight Blue, and Warm White colors.

“The smart monitor M8 is from a family of the world’s first smart monitors that not only offers a PC-less experience for seamless working but also allow users to enjoy a variety of OTT services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Apple TV via Wi-Fi without connecting to a PC or a TV,” Samsung India said.

“It allows you to browse the web, edit documents and work on projects all without the need for a separate PC. With new Work mode, you can also remotely access another PC, use Microsoft 365 programs and even connect to Samsung mobile devices with Samsung DeX for seamless working,” the brand added.

Samsung Smart Monitor M8 Specs

The Smart Monitor M8 is equipped with a high-sensitivity Voice microphone with an assistant that controls devices such as Bixby and Amazon Alexa using voice commands. The microphone has an always-on voice function, displaying conversation information on the screen when Bixby is activated, even if the monitor is turned off.

The M8 monitor comes with a magnetic and detachable Slimfit camera that can be easily connected to the monitor while keeping desk space neat without any tangled wires. The camera comes with features like face tracking, auto zoom, and more. It has an IoT hub as well which will allow you to connect all IoT devices wirelessly. The Smart Things app is intuitive and can let you control all the devices to M8 from anywhere in your home.

Smart Hub provides entertainment as one can enjoy streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, and more in real 4K HDR so you can enjoy content in the best quality available without the need to connect to an external device like a PC or TV.

The Smart Monitor M8 is a 32-inch monitor which gives space and efficiency with an ultra-stylish design. It has a height adjustable stand which allows you to find the perfect position for everything. It is 11.4mm thick and has a flat back with an ergonomic design.
