The German audio maker Sennheiser has launched the Accentum True Wireless ANC earbuds in India. With hybrid noise cancelation, a 28-hour battery life, and Qi wireless charging, the earbuds compete with some of the popular choices in the market, such as the Nothing Ear (2024) and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Here are more details about the earbuds, including their features, price, and availability.

In terms of design, the earbuds are somewhat like Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, only more elongated instead of round. Sennheiser says that the device is crafted through extensive in-ear scan research to offer an ergonomic, comfortable design for extended durations. The company also provides four ear tips in the box to ensure the best fit.

The Accentum True Wireless ANC feature 7mm dynamic TrueResponse transducers that deliver Sennheiser’s signature sound. Users can also use the Smart Control App to curate their own listening experience, using the 5-band equalizer, audio profiles, and Soundcheck feature. With the transducers, the company promises powerful bass, balanced mids, and crispy highs.

Regarding noise cancelation, Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless sport hybrid active noise cancelation adjusts according to the ambient noise levels. When users wish to tune into their surroundings, they can enable the Transparency Mode. To switch between the modes and control other playback settings, one can use touch gestures.

Connectivity options on the Sennheiser earbuds include Bluetooth v5.3, Bluetooth LE, and Auracast. For those wondering, the device supports aptX, LC3, SBC, and AAC codecs. To improve call quality, the device features dual mics on each earbud, “which can be used together or independently for calls for maximum versatility.”

Per the official website, the earbuds can last up to eight hours on a single charge and another 20 hours with the charging case. Speaking of the charging case, it supports both wired (USB-C, quick charging) and Qi wireless charging. Last but not least, the earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance.

The Accentum True Wireless ANC earbuds will be available through the company’s official website, Flipkart, and Amazon starting June 20 (12 PM onwards).

As an introductory offer, the company has slashed the price of the earbuds from Rs. 19,990 to Rs. 12,990. In India, the device is available in its black and white finishes.
