The Czech automaker Skoda has teased its upcoming all-electric SUV, Elroq, for the global markets. It will be the first model to adopt the brand’s “Modern Solid” design language and target the compact SUV segment. While we’ve seen the Skoda Elroq in sketches a few times, the latest teaser gives us a real-life look at the upcoming SUVs.
Although it doesn’t reveal much by using clever lighting techniques, the teaser focuses on the key design elements of the SUV, like the headlamps, wheels, rear bumper, and vehicle badging. Let’s talk about all the elements one by one and see if they’re similar to the sketches shared by the brand.

Skoda Elroq To Feature Segmented DRLs

Within the first few seconds of the teaser, the brand shows us a glimpse of the segmented DRLs on the front. The close-up shot also contains a hint of the creases on the bonnet. However, what isn’t shown in the teaser is the new front bumper design, which contains a grill that runs across the width (with vertical accents), inverted-L-shaped headlamps, and a lot of air vents.
Skoda Elroq To Get Crab-Arm-Shaped Taillamps

In the next shot, we see the vehicle’s alloy wheels, which have a new design altogether. Then, we see the vehicle’s name badge on the rear bumper, situated under the crab-arm rear taillamps. While the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the car’s rear profile, the sketch suggests a similar design to other Skoda vehicles, which follows a subtle yet classy approach with minimal horizontal lines and what looks like a skid plate at the bottom.
