Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition launched in India; Here’s the detail you should know

As expected, Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition has been officially launched in India. The new Kushaq Monte Carlo receives several upgrades including a digital instrument cluster and a few cosmetic changes. The Kushaq Monte Carlo edition has been priced at Rs 70,000 costlier than existing models.

Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Price

The new Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition comes with two engine options including a 1.0L three-cylinder TSI engine and a 1.5L four-cylinder TSI engine model. The former cost Rs 15.99 lakh for manual and Rs 17.69 lakh for automatic transmission. While the 1.5L engine is priced at Rs 17.89 lakh for manual and Rs 19.49 lakh for DCT transmission. 

Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Specs

Skoda has replaced chrome from Kushaq exterior with glossy black cosmetics including the front grill. While Skoda keeps the signature front grille design it is now in black so is the front diffuser, L-shaped elements above the corner front grilles, roof rails and the roof itself. 

The Monte Carlo edition includes a dual-tone tailgate spoiler, glossy black rear diffuser, and dual-tone alloy wheels with sporty red callipers. It has ‘SKODA’ and ‘KUSHAQ’ inscriptions on the rear body with Monte Carlo mentioned on the front fenders.

The interior of Monte Carlo has a red-black theme dashboard and seat upholstery with an all-black steering wheel. It has an 8-inch driver information cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display offering advanced wireless connectivity. ‘Monte Carlo’ inscriptions can be found on headrest and door scuff plates. It also offers red ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, six airbags, and TPMS inclusions.

The Kushaq Monte Carlo ships with two engine options with a total of four transmission options. For base models, it includes a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine producing 115hp and 175Nm torque. It allows you to choose from a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While the other 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI engine arrives with two transmissions – 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
