Sony Alpha 7C Compact Full Frame Camera Launched in India: Price, Details

Sony has introduced Alpha 7C in India, which forms “the world’s smallest and lightest” full-frame camera system” when paired with SEL2860 Zoom Lens. Sony Alpha 7C has been designed for vloggers and video creators and looks similar to Sony’s APS-C sensor cameras rather than other Apha series models. It supports 4K recording at 30fps and has a swivel touch screen display.

Sony Alpha 7C Price and Availability

Sony Alpha 7C costs INR 1,96, 990 with SEL2860 kit lens in India. The body only variant is available for INR 1,67,990. It is available for purchase across Sony Centers, Alpha Flagship stores, ShopatSC.com, and other major electronic stores.

Sony Alpha 7C Specifications

Sony Alpha 7C measures 124.0mm x 71.1mm x 59.7mm and weighs 509g. It houses a 35mm full-frame 24.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and can capture images in JPEG and videos in RAW. The camera features 5 stops stabilization effect, has 15 stops dymamic range and the standard ISO extends up to 51,200.

The camera features 93-point focal-plane phase-detection AFsystem covering approximately 93% of the image area, with an additional 425 contrast-detection points for reliable AF.

The Alpha 7C has a 3-inch swivel TFT touchscreen with 9,21,600 dots. The NP-FZ100 rechargeable battery in the camera can last for 140 minutes of video recording or 680 shots with the viewfinder.

Connectivity options include USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.1, a 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi, and NFC.
