Sony PS5 Pro allegedly in works; could launch by April 2023

Sony is reportedly working on a new variant of PS5 that will be most probably named PS5 Pro. A report published by PhonAndroid revealed the tentative launch timeline of the PS5 Pro along with a glimpse of what we can get to see in the upcoming gaming console. The latest console by Sony could make a debut by April 2023. The console will also feature a liquid cooling system to make it compete with high end PCs. Liquid cooling of the console will make sure that it is safe from over heating due to continuous usage.

Apart from all that, the latest PS5 console will be powered by an AMD chipset along with liquid cooling. There is no leak or rumour that reveales the design of the console until now. However, one thing which we are sure of is that the latest devcie will be available at a higher price as compared to the PS5.

Furthermore, the reports suggest that the PS5 Pro will offer around 120 FPS (frames per second) gameplay at 2160p resolution along with the capability to run games in 8K resolution. In addition, the console will also include the RDNA graphics processor based on Zen 3 architecture. The mentioned chipset will perform similarly to the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics processing unit (GPU). Other features that can make it to the PS5 Pro are the advanced ray tracing, rendering techniques, and reconstruction techniques.

However, nothing has been officially revealed regarding the PS5 Pro or the variant from Sony’s side. So, all the users are suggested to take the information with a grain of salt as we can get to see a different name or different specs altogether at the time of official launch.
