A new listing on China’s TENAA certification site (under model number RMX5121) has effectively confirmed the phone’s existence and its most surprising spec: a massive battery that could set a new standard for mid-range phones.
A 7,000mAh Battery
The standout feature here is power. The certification lists a rated battery capacity of 6,830mAh. In marketing terms, that will almost certainly be promoted as a 7,000mAh typical capacity.
For context, most phones in this class including the previous Realme 15 Pro (review), hover around 5,000mAh to 5,500mAh. Jumping to 7,000mAh without turning the phone into a brick is significant. According to the filing, Realme has managed to keep the device surprisingly slim at 7.75mm and 192 grams.

More Megapixels
Realme is sticking to its high-resolution strategy. The listing points to a 200MP primary camera, likely an upgraded version of the sensor used in last year’s models. It is paired with:
- An 8MP secondary lens (likely ultrawide).
- A 50MP front-facing camera for sharper selfies and video calls.
While the megapixel count is high, the real test will be how the unnamed 2.5GHz processor handles the image processing.
Realme 16 Pro Launch Timeline
If you just bought a Realme 15, you might want to look away. Reports suggest the Realme 16 series will debut in China this December.
For buyers in India, the wait will be slightly longer, with a launch expected in Q1 2026. This aggressively tight release window suggests Realme is pushing hard to compete with rapid refresh cycles from rivals like Xiaomi and OPPO.
