TL; DR
- The Galaxy S26 Ultra measures 7.9mm thick with rounded edges and softer corners, moving away from the sharp boxy design of past Ultras.
- It carries a more pronounced camera bump with a dedicated lens island holding a 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP 5x periscope, and 12MP 3x telephoto.
- Core features remain the same: S Pen support, 5,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and charging upgrades up to 60W wired and 25W wireless.
Fresh CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, sourced from OnLeaks and shared via Android Headlines, reveal some minor refinements in the upcoming 2026 flagship from Samsung.
The device keeps its flat display with a centered punch-hole camera but now measures 163.4 x 77.9 x 7.9 mm. It is slightly taller and wider than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with a thinner profile (7.9mm compared to 8.2mm). Slightly more rounded corners replace the boxier edges, something that’s expected to improve in-hand comfort while slightly altering the signature Ultra look.

Despite the slimmer frame, the S Pen stylus remains integrated, keeping a core feature of the Ultra lineup.

Hardware and Charging Specs
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. There might be a Galaxy version of the chip, like the 8 Gen 3 and the 8 Elite.
Battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh. Charging, however, sees an upgrade, with leaks pointing to 60W wired speeds and 25W wireless (Qi2-supported). Earlier certifications listed 45W, but newer information suggests 60W.

Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch Timeline
The renders have sparked debate online, with opinions divided between appreciating the rounder design and preferring the sharper, boxy style of older Ultras. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch in early 2026. Until official confirmation, details remain subject to change.
