The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus recently confirmed that the OnePlus 12’s global launch will occur on January 23, 2024. However, for the first time, the company is giving tech enthusiasts an exclusive chance to experience the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R at the launch event.
OnePlus 12 Announces Tickets For Upcoming Launch Event
In an official press release published today, OnePlus announced the “Smooth Beyond Belief” launch event’s ticket sale schedule, implying that interested enthusiasts can participate in the smartphone launch event.
“As part of the much-awaited OnePlus 12 series launch on January 23, 2023, at New Delhi’s iconic Pragati Maidan, OnePlus will give its Indian community an exclusive opportunity to be among the first individuals globally to experience the latest line of flagship products,” the company says.

The launch event tickets will be available on PayTM Insider and OnePlus.in from January 3, 2024. Red Cable Club members can purchase the tickets at 50% off on the company’s official website. Although the company hasn’t announced the ticket’s pricing and itinerary, it begins at 05:30 PM IST on the designated date.
The official PayTM Insider landing page for the event also doesn’t reveal any pricing details yet, except a “Register Now” button that will keep interested users updated about any developments related to the event.
Yes, this is a unique way to create hype around a smartphone launch as there is a good number of people that would like to be a part of such events, but whether they be allowed to witness the devices first, or they would have to sit and wait for the influencers and media personnel to get their hands off the devices is something we would like to see.
