Diwali with Mi: Xiaomi India launches Redmi 11 Prime, Prime 5G & Redmi A1 in India

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched a new series of smartphones for the Indian market. Redmi 11 Prime 4G and Redmi 11 Prime 5G have been unveiled along with a Redmi A1 smartphone. Let us have a look at the price, availability & specs of these smartphones.

Redmi 11 Prime (4G & 5G) & Redmi A1: Price & Availability

The Redmi 11 4G comes in 2 storage models-

  • 4GB RAM+64GB storage- Rs. 12,999
  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 14,999

Redmi 11 4G will be available in flashy black, playful green, and peppy purple colors. Stay tuned to Redmi India’s social handles for details about sales and availability.

The Redmi 11 5G will also come in 2 storage models-

  • 4GB RAM+64GB storage- Rs. 13,999
  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 15,999

If you use ICICI bank cards then you will get an instant discount of Rs. 1000. You will also get 12GB of data free on the Jio sim card. Redmi 11 5G will be available in meadow green, chrome silver, and thunder black colors. The sale begins on September 9 at 12 Noon via Mi Home, mi.com, Amazon, and retail partners.

The Redmi A1 smartphone will be available in a single 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant for Rs. 6499. It comes in black, light green, and light blue colors and will be up for sale from 9th September 4 PM via mi.com, Mi home, amazon, and retail outlets.

Redmi 11 Prime 4G Specs

Redmi 11 4G is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and features a waterdrop notch display. The smartphone comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, gorilla glass protection, and corrosion-proof ports.

It packs a 5000mAh battery with 22.55W fast charging and has a 50MP main sensor at the back along with depth and macro sensors. There is an 8MP front camera as well. The smartphone runs MIUI 13 out of the box. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and IR blaster.

Redmi 11 5G Specs

Redmi 11 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 22.5W fast charging capability. This one also has a 50MP main camera sensor at the back along with a depth sensor. There is an 8MP selfie lens as well.

It supports 7 5G bands along with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. 8GB RAM booster is also available. Both sim cards will support 5G. It has an evol design free of fingerprint smudges. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Widevine L1 support. It runs MIUI 13 out of the box and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR Blaster, and, Bluetooth 5.1.

Redmi A1 Specs

It is a new smartphone series that aims to cater to budget consumers in India. Redmi A1 comes with a leather texture back and features a dual camera setup at the back. There is an 8MP main sensor at the back and a 5MP sensor at the front.
