Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra launch in India confirmed for April 23

Xiaomi has scheduled the launch of the Mi 11 Ultra in India on April 23. Though the company has only announced the arrival of the Mi 11 Ultra, rumors suggest that Xiaomi could also bring Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Lite, Mi Band 6, and other IoT devices.

Touted as the most premium smartphone from Xiaomi, Mi 11 Ultra has debuted on March 30 in China alongside Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Lite. A source named Xiaomiui has released a chart on Twitter revealing the Mi 11 series devices that are said to be a part of the upcoming event. The list includes Mi 11 Ultra/Pro, Mi 11, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11X Pro, and Mi 11X. 

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Specs

As far as Mi 11 Ultra is concerned, the Chinese maker is promoting it as a ‘super phone’. It has a 6.81-inch AMOLED quad-curved display at the front and a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen on the back meant to show a sneak peek at notifications and click selfies. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 888 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. 

The Mi 11 Ultra gets the newly launched Samsung GN2 sensor for rear photography. It includes a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultrawide sensor with 128° FoV, and another 48MP telephoto lens. The front camera sports a 20MP snapper. The phone claims to be great for low-light photography.

Under the hood, Mi 11 Ultra boasts a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast wired and wireless charging. It runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 and offers 5G support as well. 

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Price

Mi 11 Ultra had originally debuted at 5,999 Yuan (around Rs 67,000), the highest price ever for a Xiaomi mobile. The phone is expected to launch in India with similar specs and pricing as well.
