Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones Launched at Rs 4,499

Alongside the Mi 10, Xiaomi has also launched Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 for the Indian market. It is the first TWS device presented by the company in India that will directly compete with Realme Buds Air. The growing demand for convenient wireless headsets has led almost all smartphone brands to fling off their own TWS buds.

Mi Box 4K, a rebranded version of Mi Box S was also launched during the online event with Xiaomi Mi 10 5G as the primary attraction.

Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Features

The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 feature a 14.2mm dynamic driver with titanium composite diaphragms. The earbud supports LHDC (Low Latency High Definition Audio Codec) technology for distortion-free immersive audio. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 to work within a range of 10 meters.

The new Xiaomi earbud is ergonomically designed to convey slip resistance during use. The company claims to have mapped thousands of ears to customize the half in-ear design for a convenient fit. The battery of Mi earbuds can last for 4 hours of playtime while the case adds an extra 10 hours of life. Type-C quick charging capability is another trait of the device.

The Mi True Wireless is optimized with MIUI to make pairing extra convenient with Xiaomi smartphones. The device is also compatible with all android and iOS devices along with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple’s Siri.

Just as Apple Airpods and Realme Buds Air [Review], Xiaomi has enabled the smart proximity sensor that automatically pauses/resumes when one of the earbuds is pulled off and pulled on the ear. Xiaomi has worked to deliver the Mi TWS tuned for Indians with the perspective of crisp vocals, rich bass, and clear audio.

Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Price and Availability

The company has set the price of Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 at Rs 4,499. Xiaomi will sell them at a special discounted price of Rs 3,999 from May 12 to May 17. The gadget will hit retail shelves from 12 noon, May 12 on Amazon India and Mi store.
