Apple announces Two New AirPods 4 At the Glowtime Launch Event: Audio Lineup Refreshed

Apple has finally refreshed its audio lineup at the annual iPhone launch event in 2024. The company has rolled out two new AirPods alongside the iPhone 16 Series and Watch Series 10. The 4^th generation AirPods have been launched after four years of AirPods 3 which came out in 2021.

Apple has announced two new AirPods 4 models- an affordable base version and a premium TWS with ANC. They have a design similar to AirPods 3 with shorter stems than previous generation AirPods. The company has also refreshed Apple AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max.

Apple AirPods Series: Price & Availability

Apple AirPods 4 are priced at 129 USD.
Apple AirPods 4 with ANC are priced at 179 USD.
AirPods Max are priced at 549 USD.
AirPods Pro 2 are priced at 249 USD.

All four AirPods will be available starting 20th September.

The premium AirPods 4 model comes with Active Noise Cancellation which is a first for a non-Pro AirPods model. It comes with a MagSafe-compatible charging case and Find My Support through the built-in speaker. Both the models have USB-C charging and are powered by an H2 chipset that allows faster pairing and better audio performance.

While the non-ANC AirPods 4 comes with personalized spatial audio, the ANC version features ANC, Transparency, Adaptive Audio, and Conversation Awareness.

Battery life has also been bumped up to around 6.5 hours on a single charge this time. Charging cases will support wireless charging across both models. AirPods 4 comes with Bluetooth 5.3 and the premium version supports Find My Feature as well. Apple AirPods 4 comes with a force sensor new acoustic architecture for a better audio experience, Siri interactions, Voice Isolation, a case speaker, Effortless pairing, and an H2 Apple silicon chipset. These are the best-fitting airpods ever with up to 30 hours of battery life with a charging case.

Apple AirPods Max & AirPods Pro 2 Refreshed

Apple has refreshed the AirPods Max. It now comes in new midnight blue, purple, orange, and starlight colors. The new AirPods Max comes with a USB-C port and spatial audio. The price remains the same.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 now comes with more help for those who experience hearing loss. It comes with Hearing Protection, Hearing Test, and a Hearing Aid for awareness, prevention, and help with hearing on experiencing hearing loss.
