Earlier, we provided an exclusive leak on the vivo X200 FE and anticipated that model would hit the Indian market soon. A lot has changed since then, from the specifications to the launch timelines. We’ve now received the full list of key specifications for the FE (which is understood to be based on the product finalised for mass production), and it all points to an extremely powerful product poised to outperform the competition.

Thanks to our source, Yogesh Brar, we can now confidently state that the vivo X200 FE will launch in the Indian market in July. At launch, the X200 FE will be available in two SKUs: one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a maxed-out option with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Vivo X200 FE Specifications

The vivo X200 FE is built around a compact yet flagship-grade approach. It will feature a flat 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, although there is a slight chance that the D9300+ could be replaced with the yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 9400e chipset, which is said to be a slightly tuned version of the Dimensity 9300+.

On the optics front, the vivo X200 FE will pack a triple camera setup on the back, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3X Telephoto camera. Selfies will be handled by a 50MP front-facing camera.

Other specifications for the X200 FE include an IP68/69 rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, WiFi 6, Dual 4G/5G connectivity, and a massive 6,500mAh (approx.) battery with 90W fast charging, all while weighing roughly 200 grams. Vivo is also innovating with the X200 FE, introducing a ton of AI features like AI seasonal portraits, a feature that has remained China-exclusive until now. In addition to this, the X200 FE retains the Zeiss partnership and offers three years of Android version updates and four years of security updates.

Why do these specifications differ from what was originally reported about the X200 FE? After getting the updated specs of the vivo X200 FE, we checked with our earlier source for clarification. He confirmed vivo had two prototypes, but one was dropped. This isn’t unusual as brands often develop and evaluate multiple internal variants before selecting a final version for mass production.

Pricing & Availability

The Vivo X200 FE is slated to launch in two SKUs with two color options sometime in July. It is expected to be priced in the Rs 50,000-60,000 bracket, similar to its competition.
