Huawei Watch GT 2 with 2 Week Battery Life and Bluetooth calling launched in India

Huawei has brought its Watch GT 2 to India. It runs on the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin A1 wearable chip. The watch debuted back in September and as such much of the features are already known. Two-week battery life, heart rate tracker, an Always-On display and Bluetooth calling would be some of those. Now, we have the Indian price and availability specifics too.

Huawei Watch GT 2 comes out in 42mm and 46mm sizes with always-on 3D glass AMOLED displays. Kirin A1 drives the watch and is touted to be the world’s first wearable chip.

Huawei Watch GT 2 launched in India

The 42mm (Night Black Color) one has a 1.2-inch screen with a resolution of 390×390 pixels. It packs 16MB RAM, 4GB storage and a 215mAh power unit.

The bigger one with 46mm diameter flaunts in 3 hues – Matte Black, Pebble Brown, and Titanium Grey colors. The front screen is a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with a 454×454 pixel resolution. Inside, you get 32MB RAM and a larger 455mAh battery.

Huawei brags the watch will tick for up to two weeks with both the heart rate monitor and call notification enabled.

Being a smartwatch, it tots health and fitness trackers for heart rate, steps, calories, sleep, etc. Users will be alerted if their heart rate crosses 100bpm or falls below 50bpm for more than 10 minutes. Rest, it includes Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and water resistance up to 50 ms. If you pick the bigger variant, you could enjoy Bluetooth calling as well.

“This versatile smartwatch Huawei Watch GT2 further underlines our focus on health and fitness and help our customers manage it better. The watch scientifically monitors heart rate, physical activities and sleep pattern with help of accurate positioning feature,” Tornado Pan, Country Manager (Huawei Brand), Consumer Business Group, Huawei India, said in a statement.

You can grab one from major retail outlets such as Flipkart, Amazon, etc. They are listed at various prices starting from Rs. 15,990 going all the way up to Rs. 30,990.

  • 46mm Leather Sport – Rs. 17,990
  • 46mm Titanium Grey (Metal) – Rs. 21,990
