What to expect from iQOO 15

iQOO India head Nipun Marya previously announced the November 26th launch date. Key specifications confirmed for the Indian model align it closely with its Chinese counterpart. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, supplemented by iQOO’s proprietary Q3 Supercomputing gaming chip designed to enhance graphical performance and enable features such as Ray Tracing.

Furthermore, the Indian variant is confirmed to feature LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The display will offer a 2K resolution combined with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. To manage heat during intensive tasks, the iQOO 15 will incorporate a substantial 8,000 square millimeter single-layer vapour chamber cooling system. The device is set to ship with OriginOS 6, which is based on the Android 16 operating system.

While the complete specifications for the Indian market will be detailed at the launch event, the model released in China provides a strong indication of what to expect. The Chinese iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch Samsung E7 AMOLED display (1,440 x 3,168 pixels, 144Hz). Its camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, complemented by a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Notably, the Chinese version packs a large 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless fast charging.

The device is positioned as a high-performance flagship aimed at users prioritizing speed, gaming features, and advanced display capabilities.
