Amidst the high anticipation of the POCO F6, the Chinese sub-brand has also teased the launch of its first-ever tablet, the POCO Pad. The POCO Pad will be launching alongside the POCO F6 and F6 Pro globally, with the launch event being held in Dubai on May 23.

At the same time, the Indian division of POCO is mum about the POCO Pad. We already know that the POCO F6 Pro isn’t making its debut in the country but we’re unsure about the POCO Pad. POCO Global has, however, teased the tablet and it seems to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro which launched in China last month.

Leaks and certifications indicate that the tablet will be launching in Indonesia and Malaysia as well. So, can we expect an India launch? We’re not sure. Redmi is also planning to launch the same tablet but with 5G, while the POCO Pad will be Wi-Fi-only. Therefore, there is some possibility of the POCO Pad launching in India.
