Realme ends 2019 with a new mid-range device under its X umbrella. Realme X2 (review) is the brand’s first Snapdragon 730G powered phone in the country. If it feels like a deja vu, you’re right as it has already made its presence in China. But Realme has tinkered few changes in the Indian variant.

So, let’s see what they are and above all know the retail price. Rest, we will go through the specifics of Realme Buds Air and Realme Paysa, that was announced today. So, let’s get started with the new arrivals.

Pricing and Availability

  • Realme Buds Air will be available from Dec 23 12 noon at Rs. 3,999 via Realme.com and Flipkart.
  • Realme has priced the variants of realme X2 as follows –
    4+64 GB: Rs. 16,999
    6+128 GB: Rs. 18,999
    8+128 GB: Rs. 19,999
  • The first sale of Realme X2 will be on Dec 20 12 noon via Flipkart, Realme.com and stores near you.

Realme has unveiled a one-stop financial solution for-

  • Individual loans from Rs 8,000 to Rs 1,00,000 via the app with flexible repayment options from 3 to 12 months.
  • Business loans for micro and SMEs starting from Rs 50,000 to Rs 50 Lakhs, besides instant digital loan up to Rs. 5 lakhs. The repayment tenure would be from 12 to 60 months.
  • Screen Insurance for Old and New phones
  • Free Credit report service

Realme Buds Air, as you can see is a truly wireless earphone from the brand. It comes with the following features –

  • Auto connects to the device once pulled out of the cradle.
  • These are bass-centric thanks to a built-in 12mm driver
  • These sport a dual-channel transmission, MFB,
  • Realme vaunts a high audio latency in the dint of the R1 processor and Bluetooth 5.0.
  • There is a dedicated gaming mode on the earbuds which claims a 120ms latency.
  • It is packed with 2 microphones coupled with a noise cancellation facility.
  • They come with a battery life of 3 hours of continuous music playback and 17-hours with the charging case. You can top it up using the newly launched 10W wireless charger. It has a USB-C port for wired charging as well. On the top, there is an LED indicator for the battery state.
  • They weigh around 4.2g and are out in three colors – Black, White, and Yellow.

Realme X2 highlights

Essentially, this one’s Realme XT with a different processor and a few other changes. It rides on the gaming-focused Snapdragon 730G chip. This is bolstered by up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.1 of storage.

Realme X2 sticks to the 4000mAh battery found in the Pro variant (review) but supports a 30W fast charger.

The imaging helms on a 32MP sensor on the front and a 64MP quartet in the back. The latter is employing the Samsung GW1 sensor, not Sony IMX686. It is accompanied by 8MP wide-angle, a 2MP Macro and a 2MP depth unit.

The software is still Color OS 6.1 based on Android Pie. You interact with the software via a 6.4-inch sAMOLED Full HD+ panel. This bears an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. Amongst other things, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, dedicated card slot, USB-C socket and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. If you’re wondering, it lacks NFC support.
