TL; DR
  • Redmi has launched the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ in India.
  • The Pro uses the Dimensity 7400 Ultra with a 6,580 mAh battery and 45W charging, while the Pro+ runs Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with a 6,500 mAh battery and 100W charging.
  • Prices start at ₹29,999 for the Pro and ₹37,999 for the Pro+, with effective launch prices of ₹26,999 and ₹34,999 after bank offers.

Redmi has officially launched the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in India, following weeks of teasers and the earlier launch of the standard Note 15. Both phones sit squarely in the upper mid-range segment. Pricing, however, has drawn mixed reactions, especially given the competition and the relatively incremental upgrades.

Both phones feature a 200 MP “MasterPixel” primary camera paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. There is no telephoto on the Pro+ this time around but it gets a higher-resolution 32 MP front camera, compared to the 20 MP unit on the Pro.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro packs a 6,580 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. The Note 15 Pro+ uses a slightly smaller 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery but compensates with 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. These are not impressive numbers considering the competition is now offering 7,000+ mAh batteries.

The display is identical across both models. They use a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness rated up to 3,200 Nits, 3,840 Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, and 12-bit color depth.

For display protection, there’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2. And for durability, we have the standard IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.

Other specs include up to 12 GB RAM, storage options going up to 512 GB UFS 2.2, no microSD expansion, stereo speakers, an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, and HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Redmi is promising 4 Android updates (only 3 after HyperOS 3/Android 16) and 6 years of security patch updates.
