Samsung adds 2 new smartphones to its A-Series line-up: Galaxy A14 & Galaxy A23 launched in India

Tech giant Samsung has widened its A-Series smartphones line-up in the country. The brand has launched Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and Samsung Galaxy A23 5G which are a complete package of the latest Galaxy innovations at an affordable price. “Samsung has been driving 5G adoption in India with its widest portfolio of 5G devices. With the launch of Galaxy A14 and A23 5G, Samsung will now have the widest distribution of 5G devices in the country,” said Aditya Babbar, Senior Director, Mobile Businesses, Samsung India.

Samsung Galaxy A14 & Galaxy A23: Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G comes in the following storage variants-

  • 4GB RAM+64GB storage- Rs. 16,499
  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 18,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 20,999

It comes in Dark Red, Light Green, and Black colors.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes in the following storage configurations-

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 22,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 24,999

It comes in Silver, Light blue, and orange colors.

Both devices will be up for sale on the Samsung website, Samsung exclusive, and partner stores and e-commerce platforms from January 20. You can also purchase these phones via Live Commerce on the Samsung website from 12 PM onwards on January 18.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G: Specs

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G sports a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It is powered by Exynos 1330 octa-core processor with up to 16GB RAM with the RAM Plus feature. It runs One UI Core 5 based on Android 13 and packs a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy A14 has a triple-lens setup at the back including a 50MP main, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front sports a 13MP selfie camera.  It will get 2 OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G: Specs

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G flaunts a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 695 paired with up to 16GB Virtual RAM and up to 128GB storage.

At the back is a quad camera setup including a 50MP main lens with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP depth and macro lenses. The front has a 13MP selfie camera.  It runs One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box with 3.5 years of promised security updates. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
