Upcoming Smartphone Launches In December 2025

1. vivo X300 Series

vivo X300 series
  • Release Date: December 2, 2025, at 12 PM IST

To kick things off on a fiery note, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer vivo will reveal its latest Android flagships in the country on December 2, 2025. I am talking about the vivo X300 and the X300 Pro, two camera-centric smartphones that offer top-tier specifications for a premium price.

Given that the phones are already available in China, we have a fair idea about their specifications. For instance, the vanilla X300 features a 6.31-inch screen, and the X300 Pro gets a bigger 6.78-inch screen. Both use an LTPO AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Powering the phones is MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 SoC, which offers top-tier performance. While the regular version has a 200MP primary camera, the Pro version has a 50MP primary camera but a 200MP zoom camera (both camera setups are tuned by Zeiss).

Similarly, the non-Pro version has a 6,040 mAh battery, while the Pro features a 6,510 mAh battery. While the baseline X300 could be priced around Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 70,000, the X300 Pro could cost around Rs. 1,00,000 in India. The smartphones will compete with handsets like the OnePlus 15 (review), realme GT 8 Pro (review), Oppo Find X9 (review) series, and iQOO 15 (review).

2. Xiaomi Redmi 15C

Redmi 15c
  • Release Date: December 3, 2025

Following the launch of the flagships on December 2, 2025, another Chinese smartphone maker is unveiling its budget offering, the Redmi 15C. The phone, in its native market, features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen, runs on the Dimensity 6300 (6nm) SoC, features up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 50MP primary camera.

Powering the handset is a 6,000 mAh battery. Although we don’t yet know the launch time, the phone should be available on the company’s official website and on Amazon in India. Again, keep in mind that this one is a budget offering, so it should be priced accordingly.

3. realme P4x 5G

  • Release Date: December 4, 2025

The first week will also see a third smartphone launch — the realme P4X 5G, a promising midranger. It will be available on the company’s official website and Flipkart, though we don’t have a price yet (could be around Rs. 20,000).

The handset features a 144Hz screen (most likely LCD), runs on the Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, and features a 7,000 mAh battery that should last over a day with moderate usage. More details about the smartphone, including its price and availability, should surface online before its launch.

4. OnePlus 15R

  • Release Date: December 17

Jumping from the first week to the third week of December, we’ll see the OnePlus 15R debut globally in markets like India and the United States. It is rumored to be the first smartphone powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (seen on smartphones like the Galaxy S24 Ultra).

The OnePlus 15R is shaping up to be a promising midranger. The powerful chipset aside, the smartphone is said to feature an 8,000 mAh battery (bigger than its flagship sibling), a 165Hz AMOLED screen, and two 50MP cameras.

With these specifications, the phone could cost around Rs. 50,000 in India, given that the flagship OnePlus 15 is available for Rs. 68,999 (at the company’s official website). December 17 is the launch date for the phone, and it will be available to purchase at a later date.

5. Oppo 15C

Oppo 15C
  • Release Date: December (Expected)

While Oppo has already unveiled the Find X9 series in the Indian market, the company could also release a midranger in December. Teased at the Find X9 launch event, the Oppo 15C could debut with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a 6.59-inch screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 50MP LYT600 primary camera.

Keep in mind that the phone’s release date hasn’t been announced yet, but it should debut sometime in December, likely in the second week or later.
