The Indian telecom provider Vi has launched a new recharge plan for prepaid users, which provides free access to Amazon Prime Video, the on-demand content service. Per Vi, this is the most affordable annual recharge plan, which offers a validity of 365 calendar days. The cost of the plan, however, is Rs. 3,199. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Vi annual recharge plan.

Rs. 3,199 Annual Plan Includes These Benefits

First, the Rs. 3,199 annual plan offers 2GB of 4G data on a daily basis. Then, it provides 100 SMS daily and unlimited voice calling. This particular plan also includes Vi’s binge-free feature between 12 AM and 6 AM, wherein users can watch unlimited content given in this list, and the data usage doesn’t count against the daily allowance.

The Plan Also Includes An Amazon Prime Video Mobile Subscription

However, the main benefit of the new Rs. 3,199 annual plan is the complimentary Amazon Prime Video Mobile edition subscription. However, this wouldn’t allow users to log in to the service on a device with a larger screen, such as a television. Other benefits include weekend data rollover, Vi Movies & TV access, and Data Delights.

When compared to other telecom’s annual plans with similar benefits, the Vi annual plan is slightly more affordable. For instance, Reliance Jio’s yearly plan, with Prime Video OTT service, costs Rs. 3,227 with a validity of 365 days. However, at slightly higher prices, Jio and Airtel have plans that offer better OTT bundles that might attract users who watch a lot of content online.

A Rs. 3,099 annual plan also offers 2GB of high-speed 4G data per day, but the plan provides a Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. This particular plan also offers an extra 50GB of data. Regular benefits include unlimited calls, 100 SMS daily, and unlimited Night data for binging content online.
