The Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has released several new features to improve the user experience. These features are available to both Android and iOS users, allowing them to send motion photos, create new chat themes and video call backgrounds using Meta AI, use new sticker packs, and more. - Live and Motion photos: iOS users can finally share Live Photos via WhatsApp as a short video clip with audio. Additionally, Android users can now share Motion Photos through the online messaging platform.
- New chat themes with Meta AI: WhatsApp users can now create custom chat themes using Meta AI. To do this, head to Settings > Chat, hit the Default chat theme, and then select Create with AI.
- New backgrounds with Meta AI: WhatsApp has long allowed users to replace their backgrounds during video calls, making it a little less distracting and more organized for both work and leisure calls. Now, the platform lets users create unique backgrounds for their video calls using Meta AI. In addition to video calls, users can also add AI backgrounds when taking photos and videos directly in chats.

- New sticker packs: WhatsApp has introduced new sticker packs, including Fearless Bird, School Days, and Vacation packs.
- Easier group search: WhatsApp is also improving the way you search for group chats. You’d probably already know how the number of groups on our WhatsApp is too much to remember. Now, users can just search for someone in a group in the Chats tab, and the app will display the common groups you have with the person.
- Document scanning on Android: WhatsApp is expanding its capabilities to allow users to scan, crop, save, and share documents directly within the app.
