TL; DR
- WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned group info page to some iOS beta users.
- The update introduces three tabs (Members, Media, and Settings) along with new Preferences and Privacy sections.
- WABetaInfo reports that the feature is currently available to select users on the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS.
WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned group info interface for iPhone users, bringing a cleaner layout that makes it easier to find members, shared media, and group settings. The feature was spotted by WABetaInfo in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS available through TestFlight, and follows a similar redesign that recently arrived on Android.
Three tabs organize the group page
The biggest change is a new tab-based layout at the top of the group info page. WhatsApp now separates information into Members, Media, and Settings, reducing the need to scroll through one long page.
The Members tab lists everyone in the group along with admin labels, while the Media tab brings together shared photos, videos, links, documents, and kept messages. The Settings tab collects group-related options such as notifications, permissions, and advanced chat privacy.

New Preferences and Privacy sections

WhatsApp has also reorganized several settings into two dedicated sections. The new Preferences section includes Chat Theme, Media Visibility, and Manage Storage, giving users quicker access to commonly used chat settings.
There’s also a new Privacy section that groups Chat Lock and Encryption in one place, making security-related options easier to find.
Rolling out to beta users

According to WABetaInfo, the refreshed interface is currently rolling out to some WhatsApp beta testers on iOS. The publication notes that the feature is being enabled gradually, so even users running the latest beta may not see it immediately.
The redesign first appeared on WhatsApp for Android last month and is now making its way to iOS with the same overall layout and organization. There’s no word yet on when the updated interface will reach everyone on the stable version of WhatsApp.
