With a 120Hz display, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 5G connectivity, Lava has launched the Blaze Pro 5G in India. At its price, the smartphone offers many features, including a dual-camera setup, fast charging, and a large screen. It competes with models like Galaxy M13 and Poco M3. That said, here’s everything you need to know about the Lava Blaze Pro 5G, its design, specifications, and price.

The smartphone has a rather minimal finish, like the one we see on more expensive devices. It carries a punch-hole design in the front with symmetrical bezels on three sides (and a relatively thicker bottom chin). The smartphone’s rear panel is available in two colors and houses a dual-sensor camera module in the top left and the company’s branding in the bottom left. 

Users get the power button and volume rockers on the right spine, while the left spine houses the SIM tray. The bottom frame has a speaker grill and a USB-C port. Regarding dimensions, the smartphone measures 164.8 x 76.3 x 8.9 mm while weighing 187 grams.

Out of the box, the Lava Blaze Pro 5G comes with a 7.78-inch IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 396 pixels per inch resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, with two fast Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM (plus 8GB of virtual RAM) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. 

The phone’s rear panel features a 50MP primary camera, which can record 2K videos with electronic image stabilization. Then there’s a 2MP depth camera. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie shooter with a screen flash. Users get various shooting modes, including Slow Motion, Timelapse, Gis, HDR, Night, Portrait, etc. Powering the smartphone is a large 5,000 mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast wired charging via a USB-C cable.

Connectivity options of the smartphone include dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and OTG. Other features include a 2D face lock and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone runs on Android 13, provides a bloatware-free experience, and is available in two colors, including Radiant Pearl and Starry Night.

The smartphone will be available in India from October 3, 2023, at Rs. 12,499 through the company’s retail network and Amazon.
