The official synopsis for the season on Netflix’s website reads, “Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down. That is, until an enthralling woman captures his attention at Violet’s masquerade ball. While Benedict knows his love interest as only the Lady in Silver, she’s Sophie Baek, a resourceful maid with her own secrets.”
Bridgerton Season 4: Teaser
The first look at season 4 was shared via a teaser alongside the announcement of release date. The short video sees Benedict locking eyes with a mysterious woman in silver gown, none other than Sophie Baek, and their instant connection hints at a swoon-worthy yet slow burn romance. The season is expected to explore the Cinderella trope. More details will be shared during Netflix’s TUDUM 2025 Fan Event on 31st May.
Bridgerton Season 5 & 6 Announced
Netflix confirmed that Mayfair’s Bridgerton family will be back for Season 5 and Season 6. This means two more seasons have officially been announced. The next two seasons are expected to focus on Eloise and Sir Philip’s story and Francesa’s story. The announcement was made via Lady Whistledown’s society papers, which form a major part of the series.
Bridgerton Franchise
The drama series is based on eight books by Julia Quinn, each exploring the love story of one Bridgerton sibling. It debuted in 2020 with Daphne and Simon’s story followed by Anthony and Kate’s story in 2022 and Colin and Penelope’s story in 2024. The show has been following a two year timeline so people are really curious if eighth season will take place in 2034 when all the cast members would have aged a lot.
