TL;DR
- OnePlus Turbo 6x Pro features an 8,000mAh battery.
- Pro model offers 144Hz OLED, costs just under 2,000 yuan.
- Beats rivals on battery life, value, and durability.
OnePlus just launched the Turbo 6x and Turbo 6x Pro in China, and both phones shake up the budget-performance market. The standard 6x gives you a solid LCD option, but the real headline is the Turbo 6x Pro. It packs an 8,000mAh battery and a 144Hz OLED display, all for just under 2,000 yuan.
If you want real value and a phone that lasts for days, here’s how the new Turbo 6 lineup compares to the competition.
The Turbo 6x Pro: Built for endurance
The Pro model stands out. OnePlus gives it a 6.78-inch Samsung M14 OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. It runs on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7400 Super chip.

The battery is the main attraction. You get an 8,000mAh cell with 80W fast charging. For comparison, most flagship phones offer around 5,000mAh. Even with the huge battery, the phone weighs just 213 grams. It’s also built to last, with full IP69K water and dust protection, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 50MP main camera plus an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
The standard Turbo 6x: The LCD alternative
If you want an LCD screen or need to save some money, the standard Turbo 6x still gives you solid hardware. It uses a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and runs on the Dimensity 7360 Super chip.

The battery drops to 7,000mAh with 45W charging, still much higher than most phones. You get the same 50MP main camera, but this model swaps the ultrawide lens for a basic 2MP sensor and puts the fingerprint scanner on the side power button.
How it Turbo 6x Pro to the competition
To see how aggressive OnePlus is with pricing, look at what its closest rivals, iQOO and Xiaomi, offer in the same price range.
| Feature | OnePlus Turbo 6x Pro | iQOO Z10 Turbo | Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 |
| Price (approx) | 1,999 Yuan | ~1,799 Yuan | ~2,299 Yuan |
| Display | 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED, 144Hz | 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 144Hz | 6.77-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz |
| Processor | Dimensity 7400 Super | Dimensity 8400 | Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 |
| Battery & Charging | 8,000mAh / 80W | 7,620mAh / 90W | 5,520mAh / 45W |
| IP Durability Rating | IP69K / IP68 | IP65 | IP66 |
The Redmi Note 15 completely falls behind here, with a much smaller 5,520mAh battery and a weaker Snapdragon 6-series processor for a higher price.
The real competition is the iQOO Z10 Turbo. The iQOO has a slightly faster Dimensity 8400 chip and 90W charging, but the OnePlus Turbo 6x Pro wins on battery life and build quality. You get a bigger 8,000mAh battery, and the Turbo 6x Pro’s IP69K waterproofing makes it the toughest phone in its class.

Pricing and availability
Both phones are now available in China and run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 out of the box. The Turbo 6x with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at 1,899 yuan (about Rs 27,000). The Turbo 6x Pro costs 1,999 yuan (about Rs 28,000). With only a 100 yuan difference, the Pro model makes more sense for most people.
