Xiaomi has launched an affordable version of Mi Smart Band 5, the Mi Smart Band 4C, in Malaysia. The affordable tracker costs just RM 99 (approx 1799 INR) and comes with features like heart rate monitor, 14 days of battery life, and a 1.08-inch screen.

There is no word on global availability as of now, but we expect Smart Band 4C to be available in other markets very soon.

Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C Features

Mi Band 4C weighs just 13 grams and is water-resistant up to 5ATM. Xiaomi is using a TFT LCD panel with 128 x 220-pixel resolution that can get 200 Nits bright. The 130mAh battery lasts for 14 days and takes 2 hours for a full charge. A USB charging port is attached to the main module, which is to say that users won’t need to carry any proprietary charging cable.

As for activity tracking, basics are well covered. There are four tracking modes – running, cycling, treadmill, and exercise. The band also pushes sedentary alerts and tracks sleep.

Other features include incoming call alerts, notifications alerts, and music controls.

Affordable and mid-range wearables, more or less, enjoy a feature parity. How reliably these said features work and how premium the wearable looks and feels are factors that primarily differentiates a good one from a bad one.
